Rock the Boat

Yeah, Picasso and Hemingway wore them back in the day. But brash, dashing seafaring clothes that announce you as a cosmopolitan playboy are having their biggest moment ever here and now. Sail into style this summer like rising hip-hop dynamo A$AP Rocky.

Yes, books and stories are fun, but I do much prefer video games. Of all the franchises, The Legend of Zelda is probably my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Mario, Pokemon and Final Fantasy, but Zelda takes the cake. Both Link and Zelda have been done here before, but it’s a new season so I can do whatever I want. Here’s Link. In this instance, let’s think of him in The Ocarina of Time frame of mind. Link’s actions are often dictated by his clothes. If he’s wearing the Zora (blue) tunic, he can breathe underwater and can walk on the ocean floor if he’s wearing the iron boots. If he’s wearing his normal Kokiri forest manufactured tunic (green), he can’t do anything special. If he’s wearing the fire tunic (red) he can withstand extreme heat. On a related note, some guy that works at the apple store in SoHo has a triforce tattooed on his hand. At first I thought, “wow you’re an idiot,” but then I realized I was jealous. Respect the power of the triforce.
